Youth Arts at the Radisson City Center Hotel
Chameleon and the Radisson City Center have created a partnership to present Chameleon youth artwork and the art of Chameleon artist/educators for first Fridays. The project began in June with an exhibition of work made by adjudicated youth in Sentenced to the Arts and Chameleon programs. July featured Chameleon artist/educators John Hernandez, Darwin Arevalo, Allison Atwood, Lloyd Patterson and Nicole Brinkman.
August will feature photographs of Emmett Merrill a 13 year old artist who joined the Medical Missions Foundation trip to provide medical care to children from Guatemala June 2006. Emmett and other young people and artists from Kansas City provided vital arts activities and entertainment to over 700 children during the 2 week trip.
