Arts and Youth Development Community Concentrations (AYDC) is members of the Arts Consortium working with the Youth Arts Interns to provide arts and youth development concentrations for at-risk-youth communities in the metropolitan area. AYDC provides 4 to 16 weeks of after-school and weekend programs to young people ages 12-18 in puppetry, dance, African drumming/dance, theater and visual arts. AYDC focuses on working with youth-at-risk populations from schools, community and social agencies, such as the Office of Homeless Liaison Kansas City Kansas, Gordon Parks School, Front Porch Alliance, Kansas City public Library (Hip Hop Academy) Niles Home, Operation Break Through (Hip Hop Academy) and many others.
