Happy Thanksgiving from Chameleon!
H&R Block Foundation
Chameleon received a H&R Block Foundation Grant. The funds will be used to improve our dance studio, add a new floor, replace worktables and chairs, and we will try to squeeze other improvements out of the funding. Thank you to Bob Bloch and the H&R Block Foundation!
Fort Hays State University Service Learning Symposium
Chameleon facilitated a symposium at Fort Hays State University, Hays Kansas. We met with arts faculty, students, academic faculty, marketing personal and administrators to discuss how the University could further develop service learning through the arts programming. The meeting went well past its set time with a lively discussion of community arts process, community and university resources. We look forward to continuing to work with Fort Hays State University and other diverse regional communities.

Faces of the Homeless
Chameleon’s Faces of the Homeless Posters have been printed, and 25 sets of 6 each were purchased by the Kansas Department of Education. These 25 sets will be exhibited in school district offices across the state to demonstrate the value of homeless youth.
Chameleon was a vendor for the National Association of Educators of Homeless Children and Youth Conference in Denver, where the posters made a wonderful impact. Over 100 posters were sold to delegates from Alaska to Mississippi, and we discussed the project with homeless liaisons, teachers and the Under Secretary of Education.
To purchase posters, download this order form, print and fill it out, then send check or PO number to:
