Chameleon is providing 6 weekends of interdisciplinary arts programming for young people in partnership with the Office of Homeless Liaison Kansas City Kansas. The program will provide over 30 young people with arts workshops that help develop their academic, creative and social skills.
October 7: Visual Arts 9am-12pm
October 14: Egypt Source Theater workshop 9am-12pm
October 29: Boneyard, a puppet performance by StoneLion, with mask-making workshop, 9am-12pm

Master Artist and Master Teacher celebrates the art work of Professor Ed Hogan and a selection of his students from the past 20 years. Professor Hogan is a nationally known artist who has made a major contribution to our community through both his public art commissions, studio work, and his commitment to teaching. For more than thirty years, Professor Ed Hogan has worked with young people in urban core communities as a mentor and valued teacher. He is a charter member of the African American professional arts association Light in the Other Room, a master printmaker for the Block Community Print Studio at Chameleon, and a long time faculty member at UMKC.

Join Chameleon's Wizard Lizard support group to celebrate Chameleon and raise vital funds for fall and winter programming. Bonfire, African Drumming, Arts Exhibitions, drinks and a little food for the soul, DJ’s Dan Greenamyre and Mike Dileo.
