The Block Community Print Studio is a program committed to inspiring and fostering an interdisciplinary artistic community of racial, ethnic and cultural diversity to serve youth, artists and our community.  The Block Print Studio’s mission is to advance the fine art of printmaking by providing educational and art-making opportunities for professional artists, educators and youth from the urban core.  Through various programs in printmaking and arts education, The Block Print Studio is committed to developing a state-of-the-art facility and resources for the artistic community within an environment of open exploration, innovation and collaboration.  To meet its mission, The Block Print Studio offers printmaking arts opportunities for Kansas City youth, professional artists, educators, adults and local community agencies.  The Block Print Studio hosts exhibitions, lectures, demonstrations, conferences and youth development/educational programs related to printmaking.
