Spirit of the woods

Spirit of The Woods is an original puppet festival ballet written and choreographed by nationally regarded puppet master Heather Lowenstein. The puppet ballet was written and performed for the Nelson Atkins Museums Spring festival May 11, 2008, and over 500 audience members marveled at this amazing performance. Spirit of The Woods was the concluding performance for Chameleon and StoneLion Earth Day events featured in community centers, the YWCA of Kansas City Kansas, Shawnee Mission Public Schools, and the Troost Festival. The work will be performed for other appropriate venues in the future. These Chameleon Arts Caravan earthday events were funded by the Neighborhood Tourist Development Foundation.
